Tokyo’s commuter town Matsudo
Matsudo City, located in the northwestern part of Chiba Prefecture, has the fourth largest population in the prefecture and plays a role as a commuter town for people who commute to Tokyo.
Matsudo, which prospered as a post station on the Mito Kaido during the Edo period, became a busy commercial area. Even now that the number of residential land has increased, it is still the place where many companies such as Matsumotokiyoshi Holdings, Mabuchi Motor, and Yamaki are based.
There is only a commuter town, and the transportation network connecting Tokyo and Matsudo is convenient, and JR East, Keisei Electric Railway, Tobu Railway, Hokuso Railway, etc. run in each area.
